Team Pest Control

In the late 1980's Tom Sieminski was teaching high school biology and chemistry in Smithtown, New York, and investing in rental houses. With rentals came landlord responsibilities (and landlord problems). Pest problems were inevitable so Tom hired a friend to control the pests. Tom asked his friend if he could teach him the business, but the answer was "No"…but with reason. Tom's friend indicated, "You need to take a course and get your license. But you're a pretty bright guy, so go take a class and get your license!"
Tom was a natural in class; already knowledgeable with animals and well-advanced in the chemistry of the materials used for pest control. Fellow students even nick-named him "Doc" because he seemed to know so much.
Once licensed, Tom only used his own strategies on his own properties until 1991. The gypsy moth caterpillar invasion on the North Shore of Long Island exploded that spring. Faculty colleagues and friends asked Tom if he still had that license for pest control and could he spray their trees against the ravenously hungry leaf-devouring caterpillar. After studying their habits and the materials available for their control, Tom chose the least toxic, best product and went to work.
Once Tom completed the job at the first house, a neighbor ran over and grabbed him saying, "You can't leave! Their eating my trees and no one is answering my calls. Please come to my house next!" And the rest is history. Close to 20 years later, Tom is a phone call away and has expanded his operation even further to a TEAM approach of licensed professionals solving people's pest problems.
Tom and his staff believes in the comfort level of doing business with a company that educates you first and foremost with pertinent and current facts; then helps you strategize for the best possible treatment and control of your situation.
This sets TEAM apart from the rest.
